The Storm Of War - The Movie

TSOW Movie

TSOW Movie

Here is my latest offering, and i have to say this movie is a long way from my normal Fictional Story type movies. I found this movie difficult to make as i could not use my own imagination for the story, howvever it seems to have ended up ok. This movie is really a Documentry style and has ended up being my own personal tribute to the Battle of Britain.

I hope there is something for every taste in this movie as it has many various elements to it, from being educational, historical and factual to fictional and entertaining. It also mixes up real BoB and WW2 footage IL2 and footage from the 1969 movie The Battle of Britain.

There is some text to read at the start of the movie but you do have plenty of time to read it, and i would just like to thank BBloke and Joe90 for proof watching certain sections of the movie during its construction.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy my latest effort and please let me know what you think in the UBI Movie Forum if you have time.

Cheers

Monty-Dan (Steve Worsley)

Sorry but the size of the file is used to maintain the quality of the movie. If you right click the link and select "Save Target As" your browser will download the movie rather than try to stream it into your media player first.

Do you have a version which is less bandwidth heavy? I cant seem to stream from the link above, and I can't download for later viewing. I checked Vimeo but can only find your preview version. Thx

The seamless integration of game, film, and archival footage is wonderful. Excellent music score and excellent choice of historic footage. The final scene is a fitting end to a great piece of movie engineering. An excellent composition, and a moving tribute.

An engrossing way to present a special time in history. Very smooth transition in footage and IL2, smoooooth blend. Had me totally captured. Music was superb. What can I say except thanks for a job VERY WELL DONE
